Olivia’s Place supports families welcoming a baby or with a baby in their care aged under 1 year old. We also support families who have experienced loss.

Services are provided free of charge and families can be referred by another service or they can refer themselves.

To register as a referrer or as a client, you need to contact us to get started.

All interactions with Olivia’s Place are confidential unless there is a risk of safety for the client or their infant.

We respect the client’s right to privacy and our documentation is managed in accordance with our Document Records Management Policy and our Privacy and Confidentiality Policy. Download this document below.

  • What is Olivia’s Place?

    livia’s Place is a not-for-profit organisation that provides free support to families during pregnancy and the first year of their baby’s life.

    Our Family Support Program offers connection, education, advice, emotional support, and practical guidance to help families feel confident and supported during this important time.

  • Who can access Olivia’s Place services?

    Any expectant or new parent or guardian in our local community is welcome to access our services. Support can be requested directly or through a referral from a health professional or support service. The only eligibility criteria are a current pregnancy or a child under the age of one.

  • What kind of support does Olivia’s Place provide?

    Our support may include:

    • Psychosocial and emotional support
    • Mental health and wellbeing support
    • Parenting and community education
    • Building social connections and community engagement
    • Material aid (such as baby and maternity items) as part of a broader support plan
  • How can someone request support?

    Support can be requested by contacting us through our website, phone, email, or by visiting our Drouin centre. Health professionals and support workers can also refer families to us.

  • Can I volunteer with Olivia’s Place?

    Absolutely! Volunteers are a vital part of our team. We offer a range of volunteer opportunities including material aid sorting, fundraising, event support, and assisting at our op shop, Little Livvy’s Place. More information is available on our Volunteer page.

  • How can I donate to Olivia’s Place?

    We gratefully accept donations of both baby and maternity items, as well as financial contributions. To find out what we currently need and how to donate, please visit the donation section of our website.

    We are based in Drouin, Victoria. For current opening days and hours, please check our website’s contact page.

    We are primarily funded through community donations, grants, and local fundraising. We do not receive ongoing government funding, so community support plays a vital role in keeping our services free and accessible.
